AFAS Course – Department of Agriculture QPS Methyl bromide treatments

AFAS training involves the theoretical and practical elements of performing quarantine and preshipment fumigations in compliance with the requirements of Department  of Agriculture.

 

AFAS course by CQ ProTrain

This program is hosted by Department of Agriculture approved trainers and assessors that have a hands on working knowledge of the processes invloved.

The program involve both classroom and field components including the carrying out of a live Methyl bromide fumigation.

All candidates are required to attend and complete all components of this program.

This course may suit the following people.

  • Licenced Fumigation Technicians.
  • Trainee Fumigation Technicians.
  • Administration personnel involved in the processing of fumigation documentation
  • Department of Agriculture Quarantine Officers

Completion

To successfully complete this AFAS course you will need to:

 

  • Attend all daily sessions.
  • Complete all theory assessment tasks.
  • Participate in a combined practical assessment.
  • Attend an interview.
